Jungah is a visionary leader and technology strategist with over 25 years of experience driving innovation in the wireless industry. As a former Senior Vice President of at Samsung Networks, she played a pivotal role in shaping the industry’s transformation to software-defined and intelligent network systems. Her leadership has consistently delivered industry-leading solutions including 4G Smart Networks and 5G Virtualized Radio Access Network (vRAN) systems.

She is serving on the advisory board at the Autonomy Institute, Austin, Texas. She was an Adjunct Professor at KAIST, Korea, and State University of New York at Stony Brook. A prolific inventor with more than 40 U.S. and international patents, Jungah has a proven track record of connecting advanced technology with business strategies to deliver commercial results. She is the recipient of Bell-Labs President’s Gold Award for her contribution to industry standards. She earned her Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with her thesis focused on Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imaging for automatic aircraft landing. She holds BS and MS degrees in Electronics Engineering from Seoul National University.

Currently driving vision and strategic initiatives at Aura Intelligent Systems, she leverages her deep technical expertise and industry insights to lead the team for the next generation of connected and intelligent mobility.

President, Rochester Institute of Technology / Pioneer in Radar Imaging and Signal Processing

Dr. David Munson is an esteemed academic leader, pioneering researcher, and visionary in the field of radar imaging and signal processing. With nearly four decades of experience in higher education and research, he currently serves as the President of the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), where he has played a pivotal role in shaping the institution’s academic and technological direction.

Dr. Munson is a recognized pioneer in tomographic Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imaging, with a profound impact on both defense and automotive technologies. His extensive career spans multiple prestigious institutions, including a decade-long tenure as the Robert J. Vlasic Dean of Engineering at the University of Michigan, where he served from 2006 to 2016. Prior to his role at Michigan, Dr. Munson was with the University of Illinois from 1979 to 2003, holding distinguished positions such as the Robert C. MacClinchie Distinguished Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Research Professor in the Coordinated Science Laboratory, and faculty member in the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology. In addition to his academic leadership, Dr. Munson has played a vital role in shaping the global research community. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), a past president of the IEEE Signal Processing Society, founding editor-in-chief of the IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, and co-founder of the IEEE International Conference on Image Processing.

Dr. Munson's research interests are focused on radar imaging, computer tomography, and signal and image processing, areas in which he has made significant contributions. He is also a co-founder of InstaRecon Inc., a start-up that commercializes fast algorithms for image formation in computer tomography. His innovations have far-reaching applications in industries such as defense, automotive, and healthcare, where rapid and precise image processing is critical.

In his current role as President of RIT, Dr. Munson continues to influence the future of technology and research, particularly in the areas of advanced imaging and radar technologies. He serves as a trusted advisor to Aura Intelligent Systems, contributing his expertise to the company's strategic technology leadership.

Dr. Munson earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (with distinction) from the University of Delaware, followed by Master of Science (MS) and Master of Arts (MA) degrees in electrical engineering from Princeton University. He completed his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at Princeton, laying the foundation for a distinguished career in academia and innovation.
